Taylor Building Products has been an innovator in the manufacture of residential steel edge entry doors for over 30 years. In 1971 we introduced to the residential market our patented adjustable hinge plate system on our Uni-Door . Since then Taylor Building Products has developed a reputation in the fenestration industry for quality, service and marketing expertise.

In 1992 Taylor Building Products introduced a complete line of proprietary decorative glasslites to complement our steel entry door line. A year later a new state-of-the-art manufacturing line was installed at the plant in West Branch, Michigan. In keeping with our history of innovation, in 1994 Taylor Building Products introduced the first complete line of Stainable Steel doors. Recent new products from Taylor Building Products include a light commercial product line, 8' steel doors, smooth and woodgrain fiberglass doors, a fire rated 90 minute steel frame, and a new composite lock block.
