Bob’s Construction (“Bob’s,” “we,” “us”) has served homeowners in Rochester and Southeast Minnesota since 1954. This policy explains what information we collect through www.bobs-construction.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. - Estimate and contact requests. When you fill out a free estimate or contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the services you’re interested in (such as windows, siding, roofing, doors, decks, SummerSpace, or storm damage), and anything you write in your message.
- Job applications. When you apply through our Careers page, we collect the information on the application: your name, address, phone number, email address, the position you’re applying for, availability, answers to employment questions (including driver’s license and work authorization questions), and employment history such as prior employers and supervisor contacts.
- Phone calls, emails, and showroom visits. We keep the information you share with us when you contact us directly so we can follow up on your project.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours automatically receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run our business and serve you:

- With product manufacturers, suppliers, or your insurance company when needed to complete your project, process a warranty, or support a claim you’ve asked us to help with.

How Long We Keep Information
We keep estimate requests and customer records for as long as needed to serve you, honor warranties, and meet our business and legal recordkeeping obligations. We keep job applications for a reasonable period after a hiring decision. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How We Protect Information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you share with us, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, firewall and malware protection, and limited access to stored submissions. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so please don’t send highly sensitive information, such as Social Security or bank account numbers, through our website forms.
Your Choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to any records we’re required to keep. Just call or email us using the contact information below.
Children’s Privacy
Our website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
